Here are some of our past events at LNU AI Society.
On December 11th, join LNU AI Society and @grocommunitysweden for Tech Bar, an evening designed to bridge the gap between academic life and the professional world. We are bringing together students, local founders, and industry experts for a night of creativity and meaningful connection.
The event features a fast-paced schedule, starting with a one-hour Lovable hackathon where you build functional tools on the spot. This is followed by a startup pitch competition judged by a panel of investors and experts, finally transitioning into relaxed networking over beers and snacks.

We were honored to join Neurawave at Kalmar Science Park on November
21 for a fast-paced hackathon dedicated to tackling challenges in
migraine relief. Students collaborated in teams to develop
innovative business ideas, prototypes, designs, and AI/ML or
Generative AI–based solutions.
The session highlighted practical applications of AI/ML in product
development, along with valuable lessons on resilience and
adaptability in building impactful solutions.
Neurawave and other companies based in Kalmar Science Park also shared opportunities for internships and bachelor's thesis projects, giving attendees a valuable chance to build industry connections.
On November 25, we had the pleasure of visiting Spiris | Visma for
an evening focused on applied AI in software development. The
session began with pizza and an informal meet-and-greet before
diving into practical demonstrations of how engineers build and
deploy AI agents.
Attendees gained insight into real-world workflows, tools, and
development practices used within the company, offering a clear view
of how AI is integrated into modern software systems.
The Head of Technology also shared valuable guidance on the skills and mindsets they look for in emerging talent, providing students with direction and inspiration for their career paths.
